Exploring ideas for the STEAM power plant in Eugene. There are so many new technologies being developed and used today in creative, interactive, immersive exhibits, displays, and performances it is amazing. Crossover tech from NASA and game development, as well as, interactive robotics and AI are opening whole new forms of media, entertainment and education solutions.
It would be "FUN" if parts of whatever this project becomes took advantage of the opportunity to create a "showcase" for these creative uses of a technology driven engagement solutions.
It could become a mini-world's fair of creative technology and immersive experiences of all kinds. It could be a world class destination and attraction.
Technology and science now permeate our lives. The S.T.E.A.M. project, with the right mix of exhibits, attractions, events and experiences could act as a unique showcase and "Experience/ Discovery-Entertainment Center" where new and exciting immersive technologies could be showcased and enjoyed by all. Technology can be FUN ! Imagine the next generation "Dave & Buster's" meets the "Exploratorium" and the Baltimore Power Station.
An attraction like this in this location could easily attract 300,000 to 500,000 guests per year (conservatively) with an average per capita spending in the area of 30 to 100 dollars per day. (estimate).
Live tours of this build in the VR production Studio are available via Skype. I am happy to help.
